I’ve just been looking at this Flickr site by an English photographer, Mike Stimpson (AKA ‘Balakov’) You might like to take a look.
Many of the photographs are Lego replicas of original, well-known photographs. But what is fascinating is the way Mike constructs the lighting to capture the shot so well and I like how he’s added photographs showing how he set up the shot.
If you thought close-ups and macro meant flowers and bumble bees, think again. Take a look at these – very clever! I’m off to get the Lego down from the loft now.
