Ness Botanic Gardens: Photographic Competition

Ness Botanic Gardens

If you have never visited Ness Botanic Gardens on the Wirral Peninsula, maybe now is the time to make its acquaintance.

Take a look at the following link to find out more about them and to take part in their seasonal photographic competition starting in January and continuing throughout 2012: a good reason to make return visits throughout the coming year and see the garden in allĀ its splendour.

Ness are offering various events and courses throughout the year – see their website for details.

About Arlene

Hi, I live in the UK in the north west of England. As well as my family, my interests are photography, walking my dogs in the countryside, and wildlife. If I can combine all 3 then I'm a happy bunny! I am actively involved in the Lancashire (my home county) Badger Group, which aims to protect our beautiful Eurasian Badger from the perils of illegal digging and baiting (fighting against dogs). I also run a blog for my photography club and my particular interest is macro shots of insects. My dog is the tri-coloured Smooth Collie on my profile pic together with his grandma who we now have for keeps - and is now much slimmer!! Bye for now ;o)

It’s been pointed out that this is a way for the National Trust to get free photos. Well, yes, so make sure you read the small print. There might be rules that you don’t want to adhere to as regards copyright, so check it out for yourself. Still, a nice place to visit though!
