Irwell Vale Methodist Church, Milne Street, Irwell Vale, Lancashire BL0 0QP
The village of Irwell Vale is situated at the end of Irwell Vale Road.
Turn off the B6527 Haslingden to Edenfield Road at Ewood Bridge onto Irwell Vale Road. At the end of Irwell Vale Road, entry into the village is over an old hump-backed bridge. Go over the bridge and keep straight ahead down a narrow terraced road (Bowker Street). At the end of this road is the Methodist Church and access is through the side door to the right hand side of the church.
Parking at the church is restricted and we politely ask that members do not park in the street as this causes a problem for local residents.
* Perhaps the best solution is to turn sharp right immediately after the bridge. Parking (kindly offered by Sigma Soaps) is available in their car park at the end of a short track. Additionally, there is unrestricted parking on the roadside just before you approach the bridge into the village and outside the large loading bay outside Sigma Soaps (not used at night). In either case, it is only a minute’s walk to the church from here.
If you are a visiting speaker, please park in the church driveway where we will reserve a space for you. If you let someone in the church hall (side entrance) know that you have arrived, we will more than gladly help you with any equipment you may have.
